Vegan Homestyle Cranberry Sauce

Vegan Homestyle Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients
1 cup orange juice
½ cup water
1 lb. cranberries (about 4 cups)
¼ cups Sucanat® or organic cane crystals
Pinch of salt

Directions

  • Place juice, water and cranberries in a saucepan; cover and boil until cranberries pop and become tender. Stir in sweetener and salt and bring back to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool. Best if made the day before serving.
  • Serve with Holiday Nut Loaf
  • Pour over potatoes and turn to coat all sides.
  • Bake at 400 degrees, uncovered, for 1 hour or until tender. (Place a stainless steel cookie sheet under the casserole to prevent burning, if needed).
  • Stir occasionally.
