From Vegan Homestyle: Simple Recipes For Healthy Living

Ingredients
2 cups water
½ cup raw cashews, rinsed
1 tablespoons arrowroot powder, level
1 tablespoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt
1-2 tablespoon Bragg® liquid aminos (optional)
Directions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until very smooth. Pour into a sauce pan and cook over medium high heat, stirring constantly with a whisk, just until gravy thickens.
- Serve immediately over Garlic Potatoes and/or Holiday Nut Loaf.
- Yields 2 ¼ cups.
