In March, Brady, in partnership with the Boston-based vegan meal delivery service Purple Carrot, teamed up to create the “Performance Meals,” which Brady, in a handwritten note that accompanies the meals, said will help customers in “achieving and sustaining your own peak performance!” For a fee of $78 weekly, subscribers get a box of fresh ingredients and menus for three meals that would feed two people. According to www.purplecarrot.com, the meals are 100 percent plant-based, gluten-free, high in protein, free of processed ingredients and limited in their use of refined sugar and soy.
