I live in Dallas, TX. We are so lucky to have a vegan diner here. They use locally grown produce and they have a bakery as well. Their cakes are amazing and all their food is awesome. Its called Spiral Diner.

I have never tried the Gardenburgers but after reading this I just might. Thanks

We love Happy Cow and have it listed on our resources page. It’s helped us figure out where to go on more than one occasion.

Haven’t tried Coopertunity. Santa Monica is about 45 minutes from here, so it’s a bit out of our way for shopping. But next time we’re in the neighborhood, we’ll have to give it a try. Thanks for the tip.

When I lived in Santa Monica, I relied on happycow.com to find veg restaurants, and as far as convenience food, hummus and veggies, etc were a great, quick thing to pick up at pretty much any market. Oh, and olives! Yummm…

Have you been to Coopertunity in SM? I used to work there… So great! and TONS of made-in-house convenience foods.

Yes, it’s great to see all the vegan pre-fabbed foods out there. And we’re really spoiled here. The Whole Foods that just opened up nearby has the most amazing food court with TONS of vegan selections.
