J -- My mom always peeled our apples for us when I was a child.  I guess I got used to not eating it.  Mom always got our produce at the supermarket, and there was always so much wax on them that you really had to peel them.  Today I buy my apples primarily at the farmers market.   And yes, they&#039;re organic.</description>

		<description>Do you peel them because they aren&#039;t organic? I&#039;ve noticed this year that the price difference between organic and non-organic apples is often very negligible. Organic can even be cheaper than the exotic varieties that cost closer to $2 a pound.</description>
