I'm glad to hear you're starting to feel human again. I will look for that type of apple. We usually make one trip a year up to Oak Glen (out near for Hesperia) for fresh, wonderful apples. Our favs are Arkansas Black, and Pink Lady but they are hard to get so we often settle for Braeburn. Wow, that sounds like a perfectly awful weekend.
